Starting out is free — the Passerby pass, forever, no card. Paid ranks run from $1.49/mo (Traveler, which unlocks Forum posting and a Council vote) and $2.49/mo (Observer) up to $99/mo (Elder).
Every gamer gets an AI Profile. Paying unlocks more at each rank — Forum posting and a Council vote at Traveler, chatting with your persona and requesting games at Observer, and the deep, MCP-fed version of your persona at Council member.
Every rank comes with a monthly pool of credits — one pool that covers both finding games and chatting with your persona. Finding a game costs a flat 100 credits per result, whether you search or just ask your persona for a recommendation. Asking your persona about your stats or how to improve spends credits by how much it actually thinks — short questions cost little. Passerby gets 500 credits a month, scaling up to 150,000 on Elder. Credits refresh every month; they don't roll over.

It's there to keep bots and spam out — a small $1.49/month fee (the Traveler rank) means the Forum stays real players, not bot armies.
